EMERGENT CURRICULUM & ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Integrated, Emergent Curriculum
Our integrated curriculum is designed to support the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and creatively. Children are encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace through developmentally appropriate, hands-on, and child-initiated activities. Grounded in play-based learning, our approach fosters essential skills in language, math, science, fine and gross motor development, problem-solving, and cooperative play. Music and dance enrichment classes are thoughtfully woven into the daily schedule to enhance creativity, self-expression, coordination, and social-emotional skills. Through rhythm, movement, and imaginative play, children develop confidence and a deeper connection to their bodies and peers. Our curriculum also emphasizes cultural awareness and ethical development through music, movement, art, storytelling, and dramatic play. Learning extends beyond the classroom with enriching community experiences, such as neighborhood walks and field trips to places like the fire station, pumpkin farm, and local parks. These activities are thoughtfully planned to create purposeful, joyful, and developmentally meaningful learning opportunities for every child.
